The World Square site was a huge muddy hole for many years, until transforming into The Avillion Hotel in 1998. It is large, modern and centrally located, and the foyer, bathed in natural light, features a huge sculpture of a bull. Rooms are pleasant and functional, as are Avery's Restaurant and Lobby Bar. Middle-of-the-road accommodation for families and handy for business travellers.
