This big farmhouse-style kitchen, with wide, dark polished floorboards, high ceilings and wooden tables is a comforting, homey spot in the middle of the frenetic, Oxford Street clubbing strip. As well as fresh, wholesome soups like Potato and Pumpkin, Carrot and Ginger, Gazpacho, and Cold Potato and Leek, choose from Pasta, nourishing Nachos, and staples like Lamb Stew, Fish Fingers and Bangers and Mash. There is a great salad bar--a mixed combo worth a sampling.
