At 1,760m, this is Australia's oldest and highest ski village. There is road access in summer, but in winter, it is an adventure ride by Perisher Blue. Its isolation makes the Pass special, with around 14 lodges, The Chalet, uncrowded slopes and no waiting for lifts. The skiing is fun, rather than serious. Summer is full of wildflowers and walks, fishing and riding.
