Darling Harbour offers tourists a trendy blend of shopping, eating and entertainment opportunities. The Harbourside Shopping Centre houses many upmarket retail outlets, selling souvenirs, jewellery, fashions, and home wares. There is a food court and some expensive restaurants boasting modern dining and harbour views. In contrast, a walk through Tumbalong Park brings you to the hustle and bustle of Chinatown and Haymarket. This is the place to pick up authentic Asian products and the location of some of Sydney's best Chinese restaurants. On the corner of Thomas and Hay Streets is the huge Market City complex, on the ground floor of which is Paddy's Market, Sydney's oldest market. From Thursday to Sunday every week, up to 800 stalls sell clothes, souvenirs, pets, electrical goods, and fresh fruit and vegetables. Darling Harbour round to Haymarket offers some varied shopping experiences from the clean and sparkling Harbourside shopping centre to the bargain hunter's paradise that is Paddy's Market and Market City.
