Film and cafes are closely linked in this part of the world--across the street is the Tropicana, nerve centre for the Tropfest short film festival. Named after the Maestro of cinema, Frederico Fellini, Cafe Fellini is a scene right out of La Dolce Vita. As Italian as it gets without leaving Sydney--open windows, clattering tiles, and a big cafe bar. Vine ripened tomatoes, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil and soft Ricotta go into making homemade pasta sauces that do great box office with the locals. The Lasagne is not to be missed.
