Established at the height of the women's movement in 1974, the Feminist Bookshop was Australia's first women's bookshop and continues to serve the women of Sydney with an extensive range of books on feminism, personal development, relationships, family, life matters, sexuality, and indigenous issues. The shop also sells a range of cards, CDs, posters and gifts, and offers student, refuge and health centre discounts. The shop also incorporates an information and resource centre.
