Since taking over a established business in 1996, Janette and Jorg Gartelmann have earned a staggering 23 medals as well as four stars in the Winestate Shiraz competition. The classic Hunter wines are all featured here Semillon, Unwooded Chardonnay, Shiraz as well as some innovative new blends such as a Chenin Blanc, with sweet, fresh pineapple and sweet herbal aromas, and Tropical Fruit Flavor Honeydew Melon, Passion Fruit and Ripe Pineapple, with a lemony acid finish. In 1997 Janette and Jorg planted Merlot, so watch this space.
