Isn't it funny, how bears like honey. Winnie the Pooh would have been suitably impressed this quaint winery, which produces limited quantities of award winning wines (Semillon, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Traminer) from its 30 year old vines. The piece de resistance is the Clairette, a rare wine that excels in the Honeytree soil. Buzz, buzz, buzz... And on the subject of honey, do not forget to check out the fruits of Mudgee's apiarists' labor while you are in the area. Mudgee is home to a range of homemade honeys ask at any winery and they will point you in the right direction.
