This monastery is associated with the Mahayana form of Chinese Buddhism, and currently houses six monks and one nun in a modified, traditional style building. Visitors are welcome to the main hall and library of the complex, and can also attend a breakfast session every Saturday. Moreover, the monastery runs courses in Buddhism as well as a high school educational programme and publishes its own books, which are available free of charge.
