An easy escape from the city, this well-established café is located on the edge of Hyde Park. Although a somewhat busy spot, you can still enjoy the lush green surroundings and marvel at the awkward Ibis bird! Popular with city workers and tourists, staff are friendly and the service good. Food is freshly prepared and includes a good range from snacks to more substantial meals. How about roasted tomato and arugula rolls or spaghetti with mussels, tomato and breadcrumbs? There are plenty of vegetarian choices and "Bring your own" corkage is AUD1. Prices start from around AUD6.
