The food here is classically Mexican but you can also be sure to find something a bit different to the typical nachos and tacos fare. Relaxed and informal, for a real Mexican atmosphere book a table on Independence Day (18 September) when there is a live mariachi band and even more traditional dishes. The menu includes Tamales - corn dough parcels filled with spicy beef and beans, Chilles Rellenos - battered banana chillies stuffed with cheese or beans and soft Tortilla Chilaquiles, filled with chicken and chorizo.
