La Passion Du Fruit was here long before the hordes of slick, stylish establishments moved into the neighbourhood. Pretty slick and stylish itself, La Passion has a loyal clientele of arts industry and media professionals who work in the area. The decor looks like a packet of Fruit Tingles--bright, fizzy sherbet-pinks, yellows, oranges and greens. Fruit is the core business here, with frappes (whipped fruit blended with crushed ice) a specialty at AUD3. Their light Mediterranean-style meals also go down a treat and start from around AUD7.50.
