This is the place to come for traditional Maltese treats. Maltese eateries in Sydney are few and far between. This one is basic but clean with a mixed clientele. It seems the most popular thing to have come out of Malta is pastizzi. These are ovals of flaky pastry oozing with various fillings. This cafe prides itself on making some of the best in town. Choose from cheese and spinach, sweet apple or chicken and mushroom from AUD0.50. Or for something more filling, the Maltese ravioli is served with a garlic and tomato sauce.
