The name conjurs up a place where you know you're going to get something plush and royal like; and most of its rooms are just that, with queen and king size beds. It's made up of two 1881 terrace houses and has a wonderful 'breakfast room' on the ground floor, which has a glass roof, ferns, bamboo, and a fountain. The lounge area is a must to lounge in - peace and quiet and a stack of newspapers and magazines are all the company you'll need.
