This is soap shooting territory and as well as spotting a few celebrities, it is worth heading out this way for a bite to eat at this friendly café. With fabulous views of the peninsula, locals enjoy the fresh food and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are friendly and the service efficient. Try a Whaley's burger. Homemade beef patties smothered in chilli sauce, melted cheese and of course, beetroot, all served on a freshly baked bun from the local Avalon bakery. And there is a vegetarian version too. There are some great coffees and milkshakes too. Prices start from around AUD5.
